Agile

The answer to digitalisation

Challenged by fast-changing markets, even big, traditional companies recognise the benefits of implementing agile practices as working models.

„Agile“ represents a culture change towards creating an environment that entrusts employees with more responsibility, expertise, and development opportunities, both within their teams and within the company.

With agile frameworks like Scrum and Tools like Jira as key elements, changes are initiated for individual teams or across the board for all departments, to prepare the company for a digitised world.

Using the right tools, agile methods can be implemented within a traditional corporate environment, which is usually characterised by a high degree of specialisation and a complex application landscape.
However, the success of agile teams and companies is based on the idea that team members understand and have control over their work, the success of a product, and the success of the company. The founders of the methods express this in overriding principles and values. Agile methods are based on several values.

Individual people and interactions
over
processes and tools
Working software
over
comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration
over
contract negotiations
Responding to change
over
following a plan

Agile thinking imagines an alternative, more flexible, innovative organisation that deals better and proactively with challenges.

Knowledge of the possibilites of agile methods is crucial for employees and decision-makers when deciding on how to implement agile in their own company. The implementation depends on the assessment of necessary requirements, pre-existing framework conditions and framework conditions that need to be established.

Roles in the agile world

The Scrum framework defines comprehensive roles, which are gaining more and more importance within companies.

These roles (i.e. Product Owner, Scrum Master and Developer) include a variety of tasks and skills.

For example, in addition to agile techniques and artefacts, Product Owners should be able to use traditional tools of Business Analysis and project management to successfully implement changes in a traditional corporate environment.

We have compiled all necessary requirements and training measures for the three Scrum roles, clarify existing skills and support medium-term training for Scrum roles.
